Other news for today: Terrier900 has her braces fitted. Green and white, if you're interested. Very good they look, too.
Went into Grayslake Village today and did a minimal amount of shopping. Had lunch in 'Grinders', Grayslake's coffee shop.

The Rubettes in downtown Grayslake.The Mouse did some work in her holiday journal. She also loved playing in the basement, playing 'schools' on the whiteboard and playing the piano.

MINIMAL AMOUNT OF SHOPPING! i'd have to go in every shop and dedicate a whole day to shopping! lol, great pic, hope Terrier900's brace isn't hurting her too much xx
My favourite store in Grayslake is "Purple Moon"...easily spend an hour in there...lol

Has it snowed yet? We had some the other night but only lasted about 30mins and then rained and Apple was asleep in bed and so he missed it all.
I love shopping in the States too, although do they still do that weird thing with putting tax on at the end? I went into the dollar store in PA and held out my dollar only to be told 'That's a dollar six'!
I suppose the dollar six cents store isn't quite such a catchy name
