Well, not quite, but it did snow and quite fast, if only briefly.
Yesterday was a catch-up day. Terrier900, the Mouse and I played with the American Girl dolls (a trip to the imaginary beach, in case you were wondering). In the afternoon, Dr X and I took all three children to the park, which is when it started snowing. Actually, 'icing' would be more appropriate, as what fell from the sky and blew around horizontally was not soft and fluffy, like you'd expect snow to be, but kind of sharp and stinging. Quick trip to the park, that was! We all returned home for warming cups of hot chocolate. Even TR tried his first cup of the stuff and was mightily impressed by it, too.
Not much blogging going to happen for a the next few days (LJOP, you will have to fill the vacant hours by booking a real holiday - tee-hee!) as Mr Ruby has got a hire car and we are off to Door County, Wisconsin. Wisconsin proclaims itself as 'America's Dairyland' but don't tell the Mouse and TR. Hopefully we won't have to starve them for the next three days!
See ya soon!

Oh No!! Surely not!! Book my own real hols, gasp!! Don't think I can manage that one!
Glad you enjoyed the ice-storm, pretty mild here at the mo, in an uninspiring grey, dull, damp kind of way.
Are you going to the DairyLand theme park while you are in that neck of the woods? lol

Oh and anyway I can't book exotic hols as haven't got my moon-cup yet (or ever) so have absolutely nothing for the carbon offsetting thingy!!
Hope you are having fun, as dull as Wisconsin sounds it's probably not quite as dull as me sitting here stuffing my face with chips with half my kitchen cupboards empty as I attempt to give them a clean while Apple is having fun with Grandma and Tangerine is at college!
